I will be assisting director Marina McClure on a workshop of the new musical “Tear A Root From The Earth” by Johnny Walsh, Quais Essar, and John Bair. This song-through folk musical follows three generations of an Afghan family as they struggle to find a common place in a conflict-torn nation. I'm thrilled to be performing as Lorraine in the upcoming reading of Craters, or the making of the making of the moon landing by Elise Wien, directed by Deby Xiadini. The reading will take place at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn on Monday, August 20th at 6:30 pm. More info about the play here!

I'll be participating in a three-day workshop that re-envisions the Liz Swados musical Kaspar Hauser: a foundling's opera. The workshop will be directed by the renowned Sam Pinkleton with musical direction by Kris Kukul, and writing by Erin Courtney. The workshop will take place August 6-8 at the Flea Theater.
