Coronavirus Update
Unfortunately, with the event of Coronavirus, Oratorio For Living Things was suspended indefinitely after only two previews. Although I’m heartbroken, I deeply respect the decision of Ars Nova and its peer theaters to close their doors and keep their artists and audiences safe. Holding my breath for the next time I can hear Oratorio’s glorious music, and in the mean time I’ll be clinging to it’s deeply inspiring message. I hope everyone is safe and supported. Please reach out to me if you need anything. To learn more about how to support Ars Nova and its peer institutions, you can read features in the New York Times and The Observer, and check out online streaming options through Time Out and Vulture.
"Cowboy Face" sells out at Dixon Place
Thanks to everyone who donated or came to support my producing debut, Cowboy Face, written by Elise Wien and directed by Deby Xiadani! The production was a massive success, with a standing-room-only house, tons of laughs, and a fundraising effort that exceeded its goal by over 20 percent! Our team is deeply grateful for your support, and we will keep you up to date on news about future productions.
Roundabout Directors Group
This fall, I officially became a member of Roundabout Theatre Company’s inaugural Directors Group! This exciting new program, led by Miranda Haymon (@miranda__haymon), offers community, resources and career assistance to ten early-career directors who have traditionally been denied equitable opportunities in the theatre industry. I’m so honored to be included in this group of BRILLIANT, thoughtful, and talented artists, and to be a part of Roundabout Theatre’s exceptional artistic legacy. Follow @roundaboutnyc on twitter and instagram for more information about the group, or follow the hashtag #rtcDirectors!
“Cara Has A Hole In Her Head” at Caffeine Underground
