I’m excited to return to Elise Wien’s beautiful short play FREESTYLE HAND ENTRY for the 48th Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Festival on Wednesday August at 6:30pm at the Vineyard Theater. FREESTYLE HAND ENTRY is one of 30 semi-finalists to perform in the festival. "Tracy Triceratops and the End of History" at VOX Lab

This summer, I will be directing scenes from Robert Leverett’s new musical TRACY TRICERATOPS AND THE END OF HISTORY at Vox Lab. We’ll be working with current Dartmouth students and alums for a week long workshop in beautiful Hanover, NH. More about the musical and how to get tickets here.

It’s the end of the Cretaceous period and Tracy is an eight-year-old triceratops who lives with her newly-divorced mother and her younger brother. She also happens to be the most successful girl detective in town. Having solved the case of the mystery lunch meat and the missing backpack, Tracy turns her attention to a much darker case: a deceased neighbor pulled out of the tar pits. Meanwhile, a new light in the night sky is getting brighter and brighter every day. TRACY TRICERATOPS is a new musical about the 1990s, growing up, and how things end.

"Oratorio For Living Things" in Best Theater of 2022

Heather Christian’s Oratorio For Living Things was listed in the “Best Theater of 2022” in the New York Times, New Yorker, Time Out New York, Slant Magazine, and New York Magazine/Vulture. It was also listed in the New York Times’ “Ten Stages and Screens Where I Saw Connection”.

I had the pleasure of assistant directing this piece (produced by Ars Nova and directed by Lee Sunday Evans) this most recent Spring and during its closed run in 2020, and I can’t imagine a more deserving show or team. Follow the show here for updates on future life.
